Golden Visa | Required Documents

Required documents for the issue of Golden Visa

To apply for a Golden Visa the basic condition is the purchase of real estate, worth at least 250.000 or 500.000 euros depending on the area. Along with the application, the interested party must submit the following documents:

  • Real estate contract.
  • Certificate from the competent mortgage office or cadastral office from which the absence of encumbrances results.
  • Certified copy of a valid passport or travel document, recognized by our country.
  • Certificate from an insurance company to cover the costs of hospitalization and medical care and an insurance contract concluded abroad if it explicitly states that it covers the person concerned for as long as he resides in Greece or an insurance contract concluded in Greece.
  • Electronic fee, amounting to 2.000 euros, according to the provisions of no.38 par. 8 of Law 4546/2018.
  • Electronic fee, amounting to 16 euros, according to the provisions of article 1 of law 4018/2011, which concerns the cost of printing the residence permit in the form of a document (electronic card).
  • Four recent color photos with passport specifications as well as a CD with the photo in digital format.
  • Notarized power of attorney.

Beneficiary's family members (spouse, children of the same or spouse up to 21 years, beneficiary's parents and spouse's parents) must provide:

  • Recent certificate of marital status of foreign Authorities, legally translated and validated, from which the kinship can be deduced.
  • Certified copy of a valid passport or travel document, recognized by our country.
  • Certificate from an insurance company to cover the costs of hospitalization and medical care and an insurance contract concluded abroad if it explicitly states that it covers the person concerned for as long as he resides in Greece or an insurance contract concluded in Greece.
  • Electronic fee, amounting to 150 euros, according to the provisions of no.38 par. 8 of Law 4546/2018.
  • Electronic fee, amounting to 16 euros, according to the provisions of article 1 of law 4018/2011, which concerns the cost of printing the residence permit in the form of a document (electronic card).
  • Four recent color photos with passport specifications as well as a CD with the photo in digital format.
  • Notarized power of attorney.
